In my head, hypothetical Mysore posts sound like a broken record. In fact, I just created a madlib/form. Maybe I’ll start each post with this as I talk more about esoteric stuff (research, self-study, my crazy beautiful life), & less about asana. Practicing asana is great. I love that limb, except the 6:30am wake-up call.
Mysore Madlib”
“Today, my mind was very ________________________ (adjective) & my body felt ________________________ (adjective) & ________________________ (adjective). ________________________ (asana) was particularly challenging, as I have ________________________ (quantity) of ________________________ (noun) in my ________________________ (body part). ________________________ (different asana) has improved greatly. I am now up to ________________________ (different asana). It’s still difficult to be mindful of ________________________ (noun), or at least ________________________ (verb-ing) ________________________ (same noun) during my daily practice. ________________________ (teacher) says I’ll be ready for a new pose by ________________________ (date).”
What my answers were while writing it: erratic, sore, unyielding (in all the wrong places). Janu Sirsasana A-D, a lot, distress, left patella. Chaturanga Dandasana. Marichasana B. Pranayama, slowing, pranayama. Vanessa, who knows.
You try!
